Mr Mwathane

Mr Mwathane has been widely involved on issues relating to land reform and land governance in Kenya and within Africa. He is a Fellow Member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (FISK). He holds an M.Sc. in Cadastre and Land Information Management from the Polytechnic of East London and a B.Sc. in Surveying and Photogrammetry from the University of Nairobi.

Mr Mwathane is a past Chairman of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya, and also a past Chairman of the Land Sector Board of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). Mr Mwathane is currently is the chair of the Land Development and Governance Institute (LDGI) Board of Directors. He is a Licensed Surveyor (LS) in private practice in Kenya and also consults for local and international agencies. Mr Mwathane holds two Head of State Commendation Awards issued in recognition of his work in Kenya.
